Suggestions We are always interested in improving the game! If you have any ideas for how we can adjust or improve gameplay you can send us an email at octamodsatgmail.com or just post below. Please suggest any wanted game events as well! The more detailed your event suggestion, the more likely we will use it. We may need to make modifications in order to properly implement the event into the game setting, but will always discuss it with you. If you do not hear a response from a moderator within 48 hours, feel free to ping us. Here's a handy form to help get you started! <b>Name:</b> Your name/handle/journal. Something to identify you. <b>Subject:</b> Is this an Event Suggestion? A Gameplay Suggestion? An HTML fix? Try to be specific on what your suggestion is about. <b>Specifics/Event:</b> If this isn't an Event Suggestion, drop the rest here. Include your reasoning if it's a gameplay change, etc. If it's an event suggestion, provide a basic rundown here. <b>Trigger:</b> Suggestions for how to get your event started, or for a game change to be ICly explained. Is it caused by an NPC? An environmental element? A Player Character? This isn't necessary for us to use your event, but it is helpful. <b>Conclusion:</b> What effect, if any, you would like the event to achieve on the world or players. There doesn't have to be one. Skip this if not an event. Complaints If there is a complaint about the conduct of a mod or player, please do not comment in this post. Instead, we ask that you send it to the mod email (octamodsatgmail.com) so that we may keep your complaint private. We ask that complaints not be anonymous, as we may need to discuss and gather more information, and encourage anyone with concerns to bring them to us so we can try to address it. Actions toward complaints will be made at moderator discretion. We do not tolerate harassment, but also want to make sure we are looking at disputes from all angles. Typically, players will receive a warning for most things first, however the severity and seriousness of the complaint will determine the appropriate (if any) punishment. Bans may be used in very severe situations and can be considered permanent or temporary, depending on the nature of the concern (i.e., IC actions are usually different than OOC harassment).
